Oppo ColorOS 7 Teased Ahead Of Its Launch On November 19

Oppo's proprietary software based on Android -- ColorOS will get a major overhaul with the launch of ColorOS 7, probably based on Android 10 OS. The software will be launched on November 20th in Beijing, China. The company has now released teasers that hint at possible features of the ColorOS 7.

ColorOS 7 Leaked Features

According to the teasers, ColorOS 7 is likely to include the Focus Mode that will help the users to improve the sleep pattern and sleep timing. The software is also expected to receive several optimizations to further improve the gaming experience.

The camera UI is also expected to get a new layout with features like sloop video recording, and a native video editor built on to the UI with pro video editing tools. The camera-centric update on ColorOS 7 might be limited to some of the high-end smartphones like the Oppo Reno.

Though the overall UI elements are expected to remain unchanged compared to its predecessor and it is likely to come with a new icon pack. Along with Oppo, smartphones from Realme will also receive ColorOS 7 update with a few tweaks.

According to leaks and speculations, the ColorOS 7 for the Realme smartphones will be similar to OxygenOS or stock Android user experience with features like app drawer, revamped notification panel, and a gesture-based navigation system.

The newly launched Oppo and Realme smartphones are likely to receive ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10. And, some of the older models might get the update based on Android 9 Pie.

ColorOS 7 Launch In India

ColorOS 7 is coming a week later to India. Besides the aforementioned features, the software is also expected to pack in some additional India-centric optimizations with possible features like system-wide dark mode, themes, and wallpapers related to Indian culture and cities and more.
