OPPO F1 with 5-inch HD, with 8MP front camera and 3GB RAM to launch in India

    OPPO recently announced that it will launch camera-centric 'F series' smartphones this year in India. The F1 will be the first of the smartphones in this series. The Oppo F1 has gone official in Vietnam and will be launched in India on January 28th.

    The highlight of the smartphone remains its 8MP front-facing camera with soft features such as Beautify 3.0 live color filters, and option to use the display as a flash-light to capture better images in low lighting conditions.

    The OPPO F1 has a 5-inch screen HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels display with 2.5D gorilla Glass 4 Protection. The OPPO F1 has a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash while it has a 8MP front facing camera for selfies.

    The Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 64 bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU. This includes 4 X 1.2Ghz Cortex A53 and 4 X 1.5Ghz Cortex A53. The OPPO F1 has a 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The Oppo F1 weighs 134grams while its dimensions include 143.5 x71 x 7.25 mm. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The Oppo F1 is backed by a 2500mAh battery.

    The OPPO F1 comes in Golden Color and is priced at $US 290 (or about Rs. 19,365). The Smartphone is now available only in Vietnam. It will start shipping from January 21st. The Smartphone will be launched in India on January 28th and we will know the price when it is released.
