Oppo F23 5G launched in India with 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, Four Android Updates

Oppo has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its F series in India. The Oppo F23 5G is the latest mid-range smartphone to hit the Indian market and arrives with quite a few surprises.

The Oppo F23 5G features a Snapdragon chipset, triple-camera setup, high-refresh-rate display, a large battery, and super-fast charging. However, the F23 5G also comes with some important software tweaks to improve the endurance of the device.

Oppo F23 5G Price, Availability, Offers in India

The Oppo F23 5G price in India is set at Rs 24,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB configuration. Oppo's latest mid-range phone comes in Bold Gold and Cool Black colour options. The Oppo F23 5G will begin shipping in India from May 18.

Customers can pre-order the Oppo F23 5G from Oppo Stores and Showrooms, Amazon India, Oppo's online store, and more. Oppo is also offering a cashback of up to 10-percent using SBI, HDFC, Kotak, and ICICI Bank cards, while No Cost EMI payments will be available up to 6 months.

Oppo F23 5G Specifications

The Oppo F23 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Moreover, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM through Oppo's RAM Expansion feature. The Oppo F23 5G runs on Android 13 with the ColorOS 13.1 skin on top.

Oppo's latest mid-tier smartphone sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The F23 5G also packs dual stereo speakers tested by Dirac.

For optics, the Oppo F23 5G gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64 MP primary sensor at the helm. The main camera is paired with a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP Microlens with 40x magnification. Up front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera housed within the hole-punch cut-out.

The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC charging support. The F23 5G also features Oppo's Battery Health Engine technology to improve battery health and support 1,600 charge cycles, twice the industry standard. All-Day AI Power Saving lets you squeeze the most out of the 5,000 mAh cell.

It also has 5-layer charging protection. Oppo also says that the phone will offer 48 months of fluency protection with BHE technology. The Oppo F23 5G runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 on top. Oppo is promising four years of Android updates and five years of security updates with the F23 5G.
