OPPO F27 5G Confirmed to Launch Soon in India; What to Expect?

OPPO is gearing up to launch a new F-series smartphone dubbed the F27 5G soon in India. While the brand has not confirmed the launch date of the upcoming smartphone, it has shared a teaser of the OPPO F27 5G, giving a glimpse of its rear design. Here's what to expect from the OPPO F27 5G.

OPPO F27 5G: What to Expect?

The OPPO F27 5G will join the existing OPPO F27 Pro+, which was launched in June this year as the first smartphone in India with an IP69 rating.

OPPO took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the arrival of the OPPO F27 5G. The official teaser confirms the upcoming smartphone will have a similar circular rear camera module as the OPPO F27 Pro+.

While the brand did not disclose the front design, leaked live images (via 91mobiles) of the OPPO F27 5G reveal it will have flat edges and a punch-hole at the front. The smartphone is also said to have a gradient colour design with a metal frame, as opposed to the curved display and a vegan leather back featured on the OPPO F27 Pro+.

Moreover, the OPPO F27 is expected to come with two storage variants - 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The phone is also likely to go official next week in the country. However, the exact launch date is still under wraps. We expect the brand will soon confirm the same.

The features and pricing of the OPPO F27 5G are still unknown. We expect it could be priced cheaper than the OPPO F27 Pro+, which starts at Rs 27,999 for the base 8G/128GB model. It also remains to be seen if the upcoming OPPO F27 5G will feature the IP69 rating like the Plus variant.
