Oppo F27 Series Expected to Launch in India on June 13th, Boasts Industry-First IP69 Rating

Oppo is gearing up to launch its F27 smartphone lineup in India later this month, with June 13th being the rumored date. This news comes shortly after leaks suggested the Oppo F27 Pro would be the first phone in India to boast an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The leak originates from a poster shared by Mukul Sharma, a tech tipster. The poster showcases the Oppo F27 Pro+ in two color options - blue and pink - and confirms the launch date. Both colors appear to have a leather back, aligning with previous leaks.

The leaked image also depicts the phones submerged in water, hinting at the IP rating's significance. Notably, the F27 Pro is tipped to be the first phone in India with an IP69 rating, signifying exceptional protection against dust and water ingress.

Oppo F27 Series Design Hints at Potential Rebrand

While details on the Oppo F27 series specifications remain under wraps, the design closely resembles the Oppo A3 Pro launched in China last month. Interestingly, the A3 Pro also debuted with an IP69 rating, fueling speculation that the Oppo F27 Pro might be a rebranded version. With three phones expected in the F27 lineup, it's unclear which one will be the rebranded A3 Pro.

The Oppo F27 series is expected to succeed the F25 Pro launched in India earlier this year. The F25 Pro falls under the mid-range category with a starting price of Rs 23,999. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, a 64MP main camera, and a smooth 120Hz AMOLED display.
