OPPO F29 Pro 5G Specs Tipped Ahead of Launch: 6.7″ AMOLED, Dimensity 7300, 6,000mAh Battery, and More
OPPO is preparing to introduce the F29 series, the successor to last year's F27 lineup. This time, the Pro variant is making a return after being skipped in the F27 series.
While OPPO hasn't confirmed the launch timeline, a recent leak from tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed key details about the F29 Pro 5G, hinting at some notable upgrades.

Larger Display With Curved Edges
According to the leak, the OPPO F29 Pro 5G will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will also have an integrated fingerprint scanner, similar to last year's OPPO F25 Pro.
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 and Faster Storage
The F29 Pro 5G is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. While specific RAM and storage options haven't been confirmed, this setup should deliver better performance and efficiency compared to previous models.
Major Battery and Charging Upgrade
One of the most significant changes is the 6,000mAh battery, a noticeable jump from the 5,000mAh unit on the F27 series. The phone is also expected to support 80W fast charging, nearly doubling the 45W charging speed of its predecessor.
50MP OIS Camera Setup
For photography, the F29 Pro 5G is said to sport a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 2MP secondary lens. While details on the secondary camera remain unclear, OIS should enhance low-light and motion photography.
Expected Launch and Pricing
The F29 series is expected to launch in India in the coming months. To compare, the F25 Pro debuted at ₹23,999, while the F27 and F27 Pro+ 5G started at ₹22,999 and ₹27,999, respectively. More details should emerge as we get closer to the launch.
