OPPO F29 Series Launched in India With Military-Grade Durability

OPPO has officially launched the F29 Series 5G in India, focusing on durability, long battery life, and reliable connectivity. The lineup includes the OPPO F29, priced at ₹23,999, and the F29 Pro, starting at ₹27,999.

While the F29 will be available from March 27, the F29 Pro hits stores on April 1.

The OPPO F29 Series has been tested in India’s extreme weather conditions, earning IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Whether it’s heavy rain, accidental spills, or submersion, the device is built to withstand everyday mishaps. OPPO has also reinforced the F29’s body with 360° Armour Protection, using an aerospace-grade AM04 aluminum alloy frame that improves durability.

Battery and Charging

Battery life is one of the biggest selling points of the F29 Series.

The F29 packs a 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The F29 Pro features a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

Both models also support reverse charging, meaning they can double as a power bank for other devices. OPPO claims five years of battery life, ensuring the phone lasts longer without major degradation.

Connectivity

For those who rely on strong network coverage, OPPO’s Hunter Antenna Architecture boosts signal strength by 300%. This helps maintain stable connectivity in remote areas, basements, and while traveling.

Performance, Display, and Cameras

The F29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor, while the F29 runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Both come with a 120Hz AMOLED display, Ultra Volume Mode for louder audio, and AI-powered cameras.

The 50MP main camera includes AI Livephoto, AI Unblur, and AI Eraser 2.0, helping users capture clear shots and remove unwanted objects. The F29 Pro also features an Underwater Photography Mode, making it ideal for adventurous users.
