Oppo Find N3 Flip Chipset, Camera, And Other Hardware Specifications, Features Leak Before Launch

Oppo has scheduled an event later this month at which the brand is expected to launch the Oppo Find N3 Flip. The flagship, clamshell-style foldable Android smartphone has now surfaced on Geekbench, revealing most of its key specifications.

Oppo isn't far behind Google, Xiaomi, Motorola, and other smartphone manufacturers when it comes to foldable smartphones with stellar hardware and top-notch features. The brand should announce the third generation of the Oppo Find N series premium flip-foldable Android smartphone.

Oppo Find N3 Flip Geekbench Listing Reveals Flagship MediaTek Chipset, 12GB RAM

Oppo launched the Oppo Find N2 Flip last year in December with the then-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC. The smartphone manufacturer is expected to announce the successor of this flip-foldable Android smartphone this month.

Just before the launch, a prototype of the Oppo Find N3 Flip has surfaced on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The Geekbench listing indicates the Oppo smartphone bears the model number PHT110.

It is not clear if the Oppo smartphone was a production-ready prototype or an experimental one. Nonetheless, the device managed to score 1367 points in single-core tests and 4168 in multi-core tests. Needless to say, these are impressive scores.

The Geekbench listing indicates the Oppo Find N3 Flip's chipset has eight cores. The Prime Performance core of the chipset is clocked at 3.05 GHz. Three Performance cores are clocked at 2.85 GHz, while the remaining four Efficiency cores are clocked at 1.80 GHz.

The motherboard embedded inside the Oppo smartphone is codenamed "k6985v1_64". This strongly suggests the Oppo Find N3 Flip smartphone will be powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC.

The Geekbench listing confirms the Oppo smartphone being tested has 11.11GB or 12GB of RAM. It is possible Oppo may offer the Find N3 Flip with more RAM, and combine it with 256GB, 521GB, or even 1TB of internal storage. Some reports suggest there should be a model of the Oppo Find N3 Flip with 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The mystery Oppo smartphone is running Android 13. However, Oppo should slap its Color OS 13.1 custom layer.

Oppo Find N3 Flip Rumored Specifications, Features

Oppo is expected to launch the Oppo Find N3 Flip on August 29, 2023, in China. However, the company is yet to start teasing the smartphone.

The renders of the upcoming flip-foldable Android smartphone from Oppo leaked online recently. They revealed Oppo has embedded a larger outer display than the Find N2 Flip.

A triple rear camera setup, arranged vertically, would be headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. It would be accompanied by a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The Find N3 Flip is expected to feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ E6 AMOLED inner foldable display with 2520 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Some rumors claim the upcoming clamshell-style foldable phone from Oppo will boast a peak brightness of 1600 nits.

The secondary, outer display on the Oppo Find N3 Flip is expected to be a 3.26-inch AMOLED screen with 720 × 382 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Oppo is expected to embed a 32MP selfie camera and a 4300mAh battery inside the Oppo Find N3 Flip.
