OPPO Find N5 Launch Date Confirmed for February 20: Here’s What to Expect!

OPPO has confirmed the official launch date for its first foldable smartphone of 2025. The OPPO Find N5 is arriving globally next week alongside the OPPO Watch X2.

The OPPO Find N5 is expected to make its debut in India as the OnePlus Open 2, although details on the exact date are unavailable. Moreover, the OPPO Find N5 will debut as the world's slimmest foldable smartphone.

OPPO Find N5 Launch Date

The OPPO Find N5 global launch date is set for February 20 at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. The OPPO Find N5 will come in three colour options, including Dusk Purple, Jade White, and Satin Black.

The OPPO Find N5 succeeds the Find N3, which was released back in 2023. We expect the OPPO Find N5 to make its debut in India as the OnePlus Open 2 in the coming months. Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer of OPPO, recently teased how the crease on the OPPO Find N5's screen was virtually invisible.

OPPO Find N5 Specifications

Rumours are swirling about the OPPO Find N5, which is said to be the first foldable to feature the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, promising improved performance and efficiency. Word on the street is that the phone will pack a 5,700mAh battery, with potential support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Speculations suggest that the Find N5 could set a new standard for water resistance in foldable devices with its supposed IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings.

The OPPO Find N5 is confirmed to feature a triple camera system co-tuned with Hasselblad. The setup includes:

• 50MP OIS-enabled Main Sensor
• 50MP Ultra-wide Lens
• 50MP 3x Periscope Telephoto Sensor with OIS

The device is rumoured to measure under 9.2mm when folded and around 4mm on one side when open. It is alleged that it will feature an 8-inch 2K inner display designed to reduce screen creases and a flat outer display for a more traditional smartphone feel when folded. Additionally, the OPPO Find N5 is expected to run Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box.
