OPPO Find X7 Ultra Specs Leak Ahead of Launch, Vanilla Find X7 Surfaces in Hands-On Video

OPPO is gearing up to debut its latest flagship phones, the Find X7 series, on January 8, 2023. The series includes two devices, the Find X7 and the Find X7 Ultra, each promising cutting-edge features and specifications.

As the launch date draws near, leaked information reveals more details about the design and specifications of both devices.

Find X7 Ultra

Renowned leaker Nithin Prasad provides a glimpse into the Find X7 Ultra's impressive specifications. The flagship device boasts a 6.82-inch WQHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display manufactured by BOE. Fueling its performance is Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, complemented by up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a capacious 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Cameras take center stage in the Find X7 Ultra, featuring a formidable quad-camera setup on the rear:

• Ultra-wide-angle camera: 50MP LYT600
• 3x telephoto camera: 50MP IMX890
• 6x telephoto camera: 50MP IMX858

Ahead of the official launch, hands-on videos of the OPPO Find X7 have surfaced, offering a closer look at the device's design. The videos showcase four color variants and confirm the presence of a curved AMOLED screen. Unlike the previous trailer, which focused on the phone's back, this leaked video provides a more comprehensive view, suggesting a more modest camera bump.

The dual-tone color scheme has a leather finish on the Sea and Sky, and Desert Moon models, while the Smokey Purple and Starry Sky Black models have a glossy finish. The device also has an alert slider for added functionality.

Expected features include a 6.78-inch OLED screen from BOE with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Rumors suggest the device might incorporate the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, as indicated by its appearance on AnTuTu, scoring over 2.2 million points and showcasing strong gaming potential with the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.

The Dimensity 9300 chipset's AI capabilities, highlighted by MediaTek during its launch, could be harnessed by OPPO for its HyperTone Camera System. Co-developed with Hasselblad, this system is anticipated to enhance HDR processing and bokeh effects in portrait shots.

Global Reach for OPPO Find X7 Series?

While OPPO did not release the Find X6 Series globally, there's speculation that the company might take a different approach with the Find X7 Series, given its focus on flagship devices and AI technology. However, OPPO has not officially announced plans for a global release.
