OPPO Find X8 with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, Android 15, Hasselblad Cameras Launched: Check Price & Specs

The OPPO Find X8 has officially made its debut in China alongside the Find X8 Pro. The OPPO Find X8 series are the second to arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, following the Vivo X200 series.

Apart from the MediaTek chip, the OPPO Find X8 comes with a triple-rear camera setup co-tuned with Hasselblad, an LTPO OLED display, Android 15-based ColorOS 15, a large battery with both wired and wireless fast charging, and an IP69 rating.

OPPO Find X8 Price, Design

The OPPO Find X8 price in China starts from CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs 49,600) for the base 12GB/256GB variant. The phone comes in Starfield Black, Floating Light White, Chasing Wind Blue, and Bubble Pink shades. The OPPO Find X8 will make its debut globally soon alongside the Find X8 Pro.

The OPPO Find X8 also features crystal shield glass protection on the front and back as well as an aluminium alloy frame. It also comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, while offering alloy-grade motherboard reinforcements. The OPPO Find X8 weighs around 193 grams and measures 7.85mm thick.

The OPPO Find X8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC paired with the Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. The Find X8 Pro comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also packs a 5,630 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support as well as magnetic charging.

OPPO's latest flagship smartphone sports a 6.59-inch Pro-XDR AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760x1256 pixels and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The screen also features an adaptive refresh rate 1Hz - 120Hz and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also supports Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid. The display on the Find X8 has received a TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certification.

The Find X8 also features dual-stereo speakers and a super-frame algorithm to support ray tracing in games. Connectivity options on the Find X8 include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 Gen 1, NavIC, satellite communications, and more. The Find X8 runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15 with OPPO AI integration and a 'One Touch to Share' feature.

OPPO Find X8 Cameras

The OPPO Find X8 features a triple-camera setup on the back co-tuned with Hasselblad. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX LYT-700 primary shooter with OIS, an f/1.8 aperture, and a 1/1.56" sensor size. The main camera is paired with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL HN5 ultrawide lens with AF and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope unit with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and a 1/1.95" sensor size.

The OPPO Find X8 opts for a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Oppo's HyperTone image engine combines nine RAW frames into each shot, delivering superior clarity, enhanced dynamic range, and reduced noise and artifacts.

The phone also features a Hasselblad Portrait Mode for stunning portrait photography. Additionally, Oppo introduces a new LivePhoto option, which records short video clips just before and after the photo is taken, adding more context and life to each shot.
