Oppo Find X8s, Find X8s+ Specifications Revealed Ahead of Expected Launch in April
Anticipation is building for the Oppo Find X8s and Oppo Find X8s+ as their specifications have surfaced online. These smartphones are set to feature an upgraded processor from the previous Oppo Find X8 series. According to a tipster on Weibo, they will also boast larger batteries and support 80W wired charging. The launch is expected next month, following MediaTek's new flagship chipset announcement.
The Oppo Find X8s series will likely be among the first devices to incorporate MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chip. This processor is anticipated to debut at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC) soon. Both models, the standard Find X8s and the larger Find X8s+, will be powered by this yet-to-be-released chipset.

Display and Design Features
The Oppo Find X8s will reportedly feature a 6.3-inch display, while the Oppo Find X8s+ will come with a larger 6.59-inch screen. Earlier reports suggested that the Find X8s would be a slim device, measuring less than 8.15mm in thickness and weighing under 187g. Both models are expected to include a periscope telephoto camera.
Battery capacity is another highlight of these upcoming smartphones. The tipster claims that both models will house significantly larger batteries, with the smaller handset featuring a battery exceeding 5,700mAh capacity. Additionally, they will support both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
Security and Durability
For security, these devices are expected to include an optical fingerprint scanner beneath the display for biometric authentication. They will also have an IP69 rating, ensuring resistance against dust and water exposure.
The launch of these handsets may coincide with other models such as the Oppo Find X8 Mini and Find X8 Ultra in April. Last year, Oppo introduced the Find X8 series with features like a Dimensity 9400 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.
