OPPO Find X9 Ultra Camera Details Revealed: Check Expected Launch Date, Price, and Features

OPPO is gearing up to launch the Find X9 Ultra in China alongside the Find X9s Pro. The brand has been gradually revealing details about the next-gen Ultra model. Now, new teasers of the Find X9 Ultra reveal camera details ahead of the launch in April.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Camera Specs Revealed

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra will continue with the circular "Oreo" camera design. However, OPPO appears to be focusing more on camera performance rather than design. The Find X9 Ultra will come with a 10x optical zoom telephoto lens and a teleconverter.

The Find X9 Ultra will likely have two 200MP camera sensors as part of a quad-camera setup. There will be a 50MP JNL periscope telephoto camera with a five-reflection inverted periscope design and an f/3.5 aperture. The sensor is said to offer a 230mm focal length with 10x optical zoom, allowing long-distance shots without losing detail.

The device will also support 460mm 20x optical-quality zoom for improved clarity at higher magnification. To ensure stable images, the telephoto lens will reportedly include gimbal-level optical image stabilization (OIS) supported by three ultra-precise active optical calibrations for better shake reduction.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra: What We Know So Far

In terms of specs, the Find X9 Ultra could use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is said to feature a 2K LTPO OLED display and a massive silicon carbon battery exceeding 7000 mAh.

OPPO's Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, recently announced that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will launch in select global markets in April. Reports also suggest that the handset could also arrive in India. This will mark the first time OPPO brings its Ultra model outside China.

As far as the price is concerned, the Find X9 Ultra is tipped to cost CNY 500 (roughly Rs. 6,700) more than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which was launched in China with a starting price of CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 94,800) for the base 12GB/512GB model. Given that, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to be priced at around CNY 7,500 (roughly Rs. 1,01,500) for the same configuration.

Since there is no official word regarding this, take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official launch, which is tipped to take place on April 20 in China and select global markets. The phone is expected to go on sale starting in the first week of May, while the India launch is likely to happen at a later date.
