Oppo Find X9s India Launch Confirmed, Will Be Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500s
Oppo has officially confirmed that the Oppo Find X9s will launch in India, making it one of the first smartphones in the country to use MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s.

The confirmation came during a MediaTek event held in India, where the chipmaker outlined its plans for bringing the Dimensity 9500s to the local market.
Dimensity 9500s Features
At the heart of the Find X9s will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, a flagship-class processor built on a 3nm process. The chip combines a high-performance CPU setup with MediaTek’s Immortalis-series GPU, aimed at delivering sustained performance rather than short bursts of peak power.
MediaTek is positioning the 9500s around efficiency as much as raw speed. Gaming-focused optimisations are designed to keep frame rates stable while reducing battery drain during longer sessions, an area where flagship phones often struggle in real-world use.
A Bigger Emphasis on On-Device AI
Another focus area for the Dimensity 9500s is on-device AI. The chip includes an upgraded NPU designed to handle generative and agent-based AI tasks locally, without relying heavily on cloud processing.
For users, this could translate into faster image processing, smarter camera features, and AI tools that work even when connectivity is limited. Oppo hasn’t detailed how these capabilities will be used on the Find X9s yet, but the hardware foundation is clearly in place.
Camera and Display Headroom
While Oppo hasn’t shared full specifications for the Find X9s, the Dimensity 9500s supports advanced camera and display configurations. This includes support for very high-resolution sensors, multi-camera video capture, and 8K Dolby Vision recording, along with high-refresh-rate WQHD+ displays.
How much of that Oppo chooses to use will ultimately define where the Find X9s sits within the premium segment.
Oppo Find X9s India Launch Timeline
Oppo hasn’t announced a launch date or pricing for the Find X9s in India yet. However, with the chipset and market confirmation now public, teasers and official announcements are likely to follow soon.
