Oppo K12x 5G Launches in India with MIL-STD-810H Certification and Splash Touch Technology

Oppo today unveiled its latest budget-friendly 5G offering, the K12x 5G. The device, aimed at young consumers, emphasizes durability and core performance features without breaking the bank.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo K12x 5G is available in two variants. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹12,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs ₹15,999. Sales begin on August 2 through Flipkart and the Oppo India e-store.

Buyers can take advantage of a ₹1,000 instant discount on transactions made with select banks and opt for a no-cost EMI option for up to three months, valid only on the launch day.

Display and Design

The Oppo K12x 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring vibrant and smooth visuals.

The screen is protected by dual-reinforced Panda Glass, adding durability. Additionally, the phone supports Splash Touch technology, enabling users to operate it even with wet hands.

The device has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and sports a sleek 7.68mm slim build.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the Oppo K12x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and files. The device runs on Android 14-based ColorOS 14, delivering a smooth and responsive user experience.

The Oppo K12x 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 32-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8-megapixel front camera.

One of the standout features of the Oppo K12x 5G is its 5,100mAh battery, which ensures long-lasting usage. The phone supports 45W SuperVOOC charging, allowing for quick recharges.
