OPPO K13 Turbo Series Launch Date in India and Price Range Confirmed: Check Full Specifications

OPPO is gearing up to unveil new smartphones in its K series in India soon. The OPPO K13 Turbo series will introduce two new smartphones to the fray, including the OPPO K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro.

OPPO's upcoming K13 Turbo series will prioritize sustained performance for mobile gamers, creators, and power users. Apart from the launch date, OPPO has also confirmed the price range of its upcoming K13 Turbo series in India.

OPPO K13 Turbo Series India Launch and Price Range

The OPPO K13 Turbo series launch date in India is set for August 11 at 12 noon (IST). Additionally, the company's release also revealed that the OPPO K13 Turbo series pricing in India will fall under Rs 40,000. Following its launch, the OPPO K13 Turbo series will go on sale in India through Flipkart.

To recall, the OPPO K13 Turbo series was unveiled in China last month. In China, the OPPO K13 Turbo price starts from 1799 Yuan (approx. USD 250 / Rs. 21,600), while the K13 Turbo Pro price starts from 1999 Yuan (approx. USD 278 / Rs. 24,000).

We expect the OPPO K13 Turbo price in India to start from under Rs 30,000, while the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro price could fall between Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000. It is unclear whether OPPO will also introduce the Super Cooling Kit accessory, which debuted along with the K13 Turbo series, in India.

OPPO K13 Turbo Series Specifications

The OPPO K13 Turbo series runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 (branded FuntouchOS 15 in India) and supports dual nano SIM functionality. The standard K13 Turbo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, familiar from the Reno14 Pro, while the Turbo Pro steps up with OPPO's first Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC-both built on cutting edge 4 nm silicon. These models pair 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with storage options from 256 GB to 1 TB (using UFS 3.1 on Turbo and UFS 4.0 on Turbo Pro).

They both sport a 6.8 inch flat AMOLED display at a 1.5K (2800×1280) resolution, with a buttery smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling, and up to around 1,600 nits peak brightness-for immersive visuals and responsive touch input. Additional premium touches include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, infrared sensor, USB C audio support, NFC, and an X axis linear vibration motor, all set within a sleek body made from composite fiberglass with a 3D metal cut finish (approx. 162.78×77.22×8.31 mm, ~207 g).

Photography is handled by a 50 MP rear main sensor (with f/1.8 aperture) paired with a 2 MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 16 MP (f/2.4) front facing selfie camera. The Pro variant adds optical image stabilization (OIS) on the primary lens and supports 4K time lapse video capture, features absent on the standard version.

A standout highlight of the K13 Turbo models is OPPO's Rapid Cooling Engine-an integrated active cooling fan system featuring an L shaped ultra low resistance air duct, micro centrifugal fan, vapor cooling chamber, and graphite layers. Despite housing this active cooling hardware, both phones maintain IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance ratings, making them the world's first fully waterproof smartphones with built in air cooling systems.

Both phones draw power from a massive 7000 mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging (fully charging in under an hour).
