OPPO K15 Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 7360, Two 50MP Cameras, 8000mAh Battery, Active Cooling Fan

OPPO just dropped another smartphone in its K series. The vanilla OPPO K15 arrives as the third phone in the series, following the launch of the OPPO K15 Pro and K15 Pro+.

The OPPO K15 features a MediaTek chipset, an AMOLED display, two 50MP rear cameras, a large silicon carbon battery, wired fast charging support, and an active cooling fan.

OPPO K15 Price and Availability

The OPPO K15 price in China starts at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 33,000) for the sole 12GB/256GB configuration. The smartphone is currently available for purchase in China, although there's no word on international availability. The handset is offered in Gale Grey and Rapid White shades.

OPPO K15 Specifications

The OPPO K15 runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. The panel supports 1.07 billion colours, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. OPPO has also equipped the phone with a Tidal Engine, an active cooling fan, and a 4,950 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system to help maintain performance during extended gaming and demanding workloads.

For photography, the OPPO K15 features a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), autofocus, and up to 10x digital zoom. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera offering a 143-degree field of view. On the front, the phone houses a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps.

The handset packs a massive 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and support for NavIC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. Other highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, dual SIM support, and a weight of 206g.
