Oppo F1 and F1 Plus Smartphones Launched At Rs 15,990 & Rs 26,990! Targets Selfie Lovers

Oppo has launched their latest camera-centric smartphone under the "F" series today at an event in Mumbai, India.

Dubbed as F1, this mid-ranger comes built with metal alloy body treated with zircon sand surface coating for premium finish and smooth coating. Moreover, this F1 smartphone is already up for pre-order in Vietnam market.

Moving on to the specifications, the so-called Oppo F1 flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display, with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection.

Moving on to the hardware, this device is powered by a Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU under the hood.

The Oppo F1 comes with storage option including 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM, with an expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card slot. However, the company allow users to use the secondary nano SIM slot as a microSD slot.

One of the major aspect in Oppo F1 is its camera. This Chinese make comes with 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 1080p video recording and 8MP selfie camera allowing 40% more light. It also comes with features like Palm shutter, Voice shot, Beautify 3.0, Live color filters and many more.

Further, the Oppo F1 comes shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Color OS 2.1 out of the box. Also, the F1 mobile is backed with connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The above hardware is powered by a 2500mAh battery on board.

Meanwhile, the Oppo F1 comes in Golden Color at a price of Rs. 15,990. This smartphone will be out for sale starting from February 5th.

Oppo F1 Plus - Upgraded Variant!

On the other hand, the company also unveiled the bigger variant dubbed as F1 Plus. As per the company, this device has an sophisticated front camera and battery. However, the company hasn't disclosed the number of both.

Moving on to the specifications, this device is packed with 5.5-inch HD IPS display, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU.

This big brother is equipped with 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, with an expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Other feature includes Android 5.1 Lollipop, 13MP rear camera, 4G LTE and many more.

On the pricing front, the Oppo F1 Plus carries a price tag of Rs. 26,990 and will be up for sale somewhere around April
