Oppo Find X9 Series Teased Ahead of Launch, Packs Upgraded Battery Life and Faster PPS Charging
Oppo is laying the groundwork for its next flagship lineup, the Find X9 series. While we’re still waiting on the official unveiling in China, Oppo executives have started sharing details that give us a clearer picture of what to expect.

Listening to User Feedback
According to Zhou Yibao, Oppo’s Find-series Product Manager, the company ran a survey with more than 5,000 Find X8 users last year. The message was loud and clear: people wanted longer battery life. Oppo seems to have taken that to heart. Yibao hinted that the upcoming Find X9 series will offer a big step up in endurance.

Bigger Batteries Across the Lineup
Leaks suggest the Find X9 will feature a 7,025mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro could pack an even larger 7,550mAh cell. Both phones are also tipped to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. On paper, those numbers make the series one of the most power-focused flagships Oppo has released.
Faster PPS Charging
Yibao also confirmed that the Find X9 series will support 55W PPS fast charging, up from the 33W PPS in the Find X8. PPS (Programmable Power Supply) dynamically adjusts voltage and current while charging, which not only improves speed but also reduces heat and helps the battery stay healthier over time.
What About the Find X9 Ultra?
The Find X9 Ultra is part of the family, but it won’t arrive alongside the standard models. Oppo is reportedly saving it for the first half of 2026. While the X9 and X9 Pro are expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, the Ultra will step up with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, also referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
Launch
The Oppo Find X9 series is expected to launch in October in China. Stay tuned to Gizbot for the full coverage!
