Oppo R11s records 300,000 pre-registrations just few hours after its launch
Oppo R11s will go on sale starting November 10 or November 11 onwards.
Oppo R11s and R11s Plus were announced on Nov 2 in China, and it seems that the smartphones are already creating a buzz among consumers. While Oppo has been a popular brand in the country, with the new launches, the company has managed to attract a lot of attention in the market.
Well, reports coming out of China now state that after few hours of being launched Oppo R11s has recorded well over 300,000 registrations on Chinese online retailer JD.com. Now at this pace, the company could even hit the million mark soon before the device is actually released. The smartphone will go on sale starting November 10 or November 11 onwards.
Meanwhile, it looks like Oppo has succeeded in creating the necessary hype for its devices. And it is also quite evident in the number of registrations that Oppo R11s has got. Further, the new smartphone might just end up being one of Oppo's best selling smartphones in recent times. However, there is also a possibility of the consumers losing attraction in the coming days. In any case, time will tell how Oppo's new device will fare in the market.
That being said, here is what the new smartphone has to offer. Oppo R11s comes with a 6.01-inch display with full HD+ resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixel and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset is backed by a 3205mAh battery with fast charging support.
Talking about the cameras, the Oppo R11s features a rear dual camera setup that is comprised of a 20MP f/1.7 sensor and a 16MP f/1.7 sensor. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter with AI features. Just like the Oppo F5, it offers over 200 different facial enhancements, scene detection, and Portrait Mode. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with the Oppo's own ColorOS 3.2 on top. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.
The Oppo R11s is priced at 2,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 29,300) and is available in Black and Champagne colors. There is a special Red colored variant which will be sold at 3,199 Yuan (roughly Rs. 31,300).
