As per the latest counterpoint report, Oppo's market share of smartphone sales in China grew 16.8% year-on-year in June. Oppo surpasses Huawei, Apple, and Xiaomi with a record 22.9% market share.Now the company is reportedly working on the OPPO R9S, succeeding the R9 and R9 Plus.

In a way to confirm this, the Chinese handset maker Oppo has teased a poster saying, "TheNextOne". According to the teaser, the company is stressing more on the camera this time too. The report suggests that the smartphone has already entered the production and will have a few changes in terms of processor and other features.

While it is not confirmed, the purported R9S is more likely to come with Snapdragon 625 chipset instead of the Helio P10. Meanwhile, the rumor in the mill says that the VOOC fast charging could be upgraded to Super VOOC tech that was showcased at MWC 2016 Barcelona.
