Oppo Reno 12 Series with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, 120Hz OLED Display Launched Globally

The Oppo Reno 12 series has officially been unveiled globally. To recall, the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro were unveiled in China earlier this year. However, there are a few differences between the Oppo Reno 12 series in China and globally.

The Oppo Reno 12 series features a MediaTek chipset, an OLED display with a high refresh rate, a 50 MP triple-camera setup, and a sizeable battery with fast charging support. Now, here's a look at the full specs and pricing of the Oppo Reno 12 series.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Pricing

The Oppo Reno 12 series price starts from EUR 499 (roughly Rs 44,700). The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is offered in Space Brown, Sunset Gold, and Nebula Silver colors. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 12 comes in Matte Brown, Sunset Pink, and Astro Silver finishes.

The Oppo Reno 12 series will go on sale in Europe starting June 25. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Oppo Reno 12 series in India.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Specifications

The Oppo Reno 12 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, the phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Oppo Reno 12 runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1 out of the box.

Moreover, the Reno 12 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel boasts a pixel density of 394 PPI and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The display here is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and supports HDR10+.

For optics, the Oppo Reno 12 features a 50 MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with a 1/1.95" sensor size, an f/1.8 aperture, and OIS. The main camera is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide lens with a Sony IMX355 sensor and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the Oppo Reno 12 opts for a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and AF.

The Oppo Reno 12 Pro shares the same specifications as the 'Pro' variant. The Oppo Reno 12 Pro shares the same display, battery, charging support, cameras, software, and chipset as the vanilla Reno 12. The only difference here is that the Oppo Reno 12 Pro opts for a 50 MP telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and AF as well as an upgraded 50 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and AF.
