Oppo Reno 12 Series New Leak Hints at Micro-Curvature Display, Fast Charging, and More
Oppo is expected to unveil the Reno 12 series in the coming days, which will succeed the Reno 11 series. The next-gen Reno series is likely to comprise the Reno 12 and the 12 Pro models.
Now, the latest development has given an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Reno 12 series. Let's dive into the details.

Oppo Reno 12 Series Specifications Leaked
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the Reno 12 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, the same processor is available in the Reno 11 (Chinese variant). There is a chance the Indian variant could pack a different SoC as the Reno 11 Indian model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.
The leakster further claims the Reno 12 might come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W rapid charging support, which is an upgrade over the Reno 11's 4,800 mAh battery and 67W Super Flash Charge support.
On the software front, the Reno 12 might ship with ColorOS 14-based Android 14. The phone could feature a 50MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom support. Earlier a report also claimed that Oppo will use a custom Sony camera lens for the Reno 12 series to improve photography capabilities.
The new leak further suggests that the design of the Reno 12 series will be the main highlight, featuring a thin and lightweight design and micro-curvature display. Given that, we expect the next-gen Reno 12 series will have significant upgrades in terms of display and cameras.
Another source claims that the Reno 12 Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chip. The standard Reno 12 is expected to support an FHD+ display, while the Pro variant might come with a 1.5K panel.
However, Oppo has not shared anything regarding the upcoming Reno 12 series. So, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more updates on the same.
