OPPO Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro Launch in India Teased: Flipkart Availability Confirmed

OPPO is gearing up to launch the next-gen Reno 13 series smartphones soon in India, which was originally launched last month in China, comprising Reno 13 and the 13 Pro.

While the exact launch date is still under wraps, the brand took to its social media handle to tease the arrival of the next-gen Reno series models. Besides, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming their availability on the e-commerce platform. Here's all you need to know about the upcoming OPPO Reno 13 series.

OPPO Reno 13 Series Launch in India Teased

The Flipkart teaser shows the Reno 13 in a blue colour, which recently surfaced online. The phone will be offered in dark blue, which might be exclusive to the Indian or global market.

Even the Indian variant of the Reno 13 is most likely to feature a triple rear camera system, as opposed to the dual rear camera featured on the Chinese variant. The Reno 13 series phones are also confirmed to ship with AI features. Nothing more is known at this moment about the upcoming models.

OPPO Reno 13 Series in India: What to Expect?

We expect both the Reno 13 and the Reno 13 will offer a similar set of specifications as their Chinese counterparts. To recall, the standard Reno 13 features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200-nit peak brightness, while the Pro model sports a larger 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1272 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200-nit peak brightness.

However, both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipsets, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The standard variant packs a a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired charging support, on the other hand, the Reno 13 Pro comes with a 5,800mAh battery, paired with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

For optics, the Reno 13 offers a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera, while the Pro model features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera.

As noted the exact launch date hasn't been announced yet. Both models are likely to arrive early next year. We expect the brand will confirm the same soon.
