OPPO Reno 14 F Launched with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz OLED Display, IP69 Rating

The Oppo Reno14 series, initially comprising the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, has expanded with the quiet introduction of the Reno 14 F. Unlike its predecessors that feature MediaTek's Dimensity chips, the Reno 14 F is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, operating on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

The Reno 14 F boasts a 6.57-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 1,400 nits and is protected by AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+. Additionally, it remains functional even when touched with wet fingers or gloves.

Camera Features and AI Capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will find the OPPO Reno 14 F equipped with four cameras: a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX882 with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie shooter with autofocus. The ultrawide camera also features autofocus, raising questions about the necessity of the low-resolution macro lens.

In line with current trends, the Reno 14 F incorporates several AI-driven photography features. These include AI Flash Livephoto, AI Livephoto Export, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Style Transfer to enhance photo-taking experiences.

Battery Life and Additional Features

A robust 6,000 mAh battery powers the Oppo Reno 14 F, supporting fast charging at 45W. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP69 rating for water resistance. The phone also supports underwater photography.

The Oppo website lists the Reno 14 F in three colour options: Glossy Pink, Luminous Green, and Opal Blue. It offers three memory configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. However, pricing and availability details have not been disclosed yet.
