OPPO Reno 14 Series Reportedly Launching on May 15: What to Expect?

OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 14 series in China. While the company hasn't officially confirmed the launch date, media invitations shared by Chinese tech bloggers reveal that the next-gen Reno series will debut on May 15 in its home market. OPPO Reno 14 Series: What to Expect?

The OPPO Reno 14 series is expected to comprise at least two models - the Reno 14 and 14 Pro. Both models are tipped to feature a flat display, a metal frame, and a higher IP rating. The standard model is rumoured to have a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model will likely sport a larger 6.83-inch display.

The Reno 14 Pro is reportedly coming with the Quick Button for camera functions, similar to Apple's Camera Control button. Moreover, it could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset.

For imaging, the Reno 14 may offer a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera. However, the Pro variant is expected to include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera instead of a regular telephoto sensor. Both phones are also tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
