Big Pro or Compact Pro? Oppo’s Reno 15 Pro and Pro Mini Are Now Official in India: Check Price, Specs
Oppo has launched the Reno 15 Pro and the Reno 15 Pro Mini in India, and these two phones are clearly the centrepiece of the Reno 15 lineup. While Oppo has other Reno 15 models as well, the Pro and Pro Mini are where the company is pushing harder on performance, camera hardware, and overall polish.

The biggest shift this year is the introduction of the Pro Mini. It’s Oppo’s way of catering to users who want a smaller phone without giving up on high-end specs.
Two Phones, Same Core Philosophy
At a glance, the Reno 15 Pro and Pro Mini look like size-based alternatives rather than separate tiers. Both phones share the same chipset, camera system, software, and durability ratings. The main difference comes down to screen size, battery capacity, and how the phone feels in your hand.
If you prefer a large display and don’t mind a heavier phone, the Pro is the obvious choice. If one-handed use matters more, the Pro Mini is designed for that without cutting corners.
Display and Performance
The Reno 15 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The panel uses LTPO tech, which allows the refresh rate to scale depending on what you’re doing, helping with power efficiency.
The Reno 15 Pro Mini uses a smaller 6.39-inch LTPO AMOLED display, but the specs remain the same. You still get the same resolution, refresh rate, and brightness levels. The difference is purely physical, not technical.
Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 (3nm) chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Oppo is offering 12GB RAM on both models, with storage options going up to 512GB.
Camera Hardware Is Identical on Both
Oppo hasn’t split the camera experience between the Pro and Pro Mini, and that’s a big deal.
Both phones use a 200MP main camera with OIS, backed by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. This is the most advanced camera setup Oppo has used on a Reno phone so far.
On the front, both models feature a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, which should help with sharper selfies and more reliable video calls. Video recording goes up to 4K HDR at 60fps across all rear cameras.
Oppo is also using its PureTone Technology here, which aims to keep skin tones and colours consistent across lenses.
Battery, Charging, and Durability
The Reno 15 Pro houses a 6,500mAh battery, while the Pro Mini comes with a slightly smaller 6,200mAh unit. Both support 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, so charging speeds don’t differ between the two.
Despite the smaller size, the Pro Mini still manages strong battery numbers, which is notable for a compact phone.
Both phones use an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, covering dust resistance, water immersion, and high-pressure water exposure. Software is ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 on both models.
