OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max India Launch Not in the Cards: Check Expected Specifications

After unveiling its Find X9 series in China, OPPO is now preparing to extend its Reno lineup with the Reno 15 series. Initial rumours pointed to three models, the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Max.

However, a fresh leak suggests the company has revised its global roadmap: the Pro Max variant may now be exclusive to China and may not launch in India or other international markets.

For India and other global consumers, this shift means that only two models, the standard Reno 15 and the Reno 15 Pro, are expected to be offered. The top-end Reno 15 Pro Max appears to be reserved for the domestic Chinese market only.

Despite its limited international availability, the Reno 15 Pro Max remains highly anticipated thanks to impressive, leaked specifications.

It is reported to include a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate from 1 Hz up to 120 Hz. Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and house a large 6,500 mAh battery.

The camera hardware is tipped to be a major highlight, with a 200 MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP front-facing camera. Additional features may include Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, NFC and an in-display fingerprint reader. Early pricing estimates for India placed the device at around ₹ 55,000.

For buyers in India, the key takeaway is that if you were hoping to purchase the Reno 15 Pro Max through official channels, you may need to revise those expectations.
