OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Tomorrow’s Launch: What to Expect
The OPPO Reno 16 series is set to make its debut in China tomorrow. The line-up will include the OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro. OPPO recently confirmed the camera specifications of the Reno 16 series, although other details are still under wraps.
The OPPO Reno 16 series is expected to feature MediaTek chipsets, triple-camera setups, large silicon carbon batteries with fast charging support, and vibrant 120Hz OLED displays. Tipster Sanju Choudhary recently posted the complete specifications of the Reno 16 series.

The OPPO Reno 16 series is set to make its debut in China tomorrow, May 25, at 06:00 pm local time or 03:30 pm IST. The OPPO Reno 16 series is expected to make its debut in India next month. However, OPPO is also expected to release a Reno 16C and Reno 16 Pro Mini model in India.
OPPO Reno 16 Series Specifications
The OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro are expected to bring significant upgrades in both performance and imaging compared to their predecessors. According to recent leaks, the Reno 16 will feature a compact 6.32-inch flat OLED display, while the Reno 16 Pro could arrive with a larger 6.78-inch flat OLED panel. Both devices are tipped to support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and improved responsiveness.
Under the hood, the Reno 16 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 chipset, while the Reno 16 Pro may feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500s processor. Both smartphones are likely to include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, promising flagship-grade performance and faster app loading speeds.
Battery life could be another major highlight of the series. The Reno 16 is tipped to pack a 6,700mAh battery, whereas the Reno 16 Pro may feature a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Both devices are expected to support 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
For photography, OPPO will equip both models with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. A 50MP front-facing camera is also expected for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the Reno 16 series is tipped to feature premium metal frames along with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
