OPPO Reno 17 Pro Specifications Tipped Ahead of Launch: Minor Upgrades Expected Over Reno 16 Pro
Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch its next-generation Reno 17 series in China in November 2026. Ahead of the expected debut, leaks have revealed the key specifications of the Oppo Reno 17 Pro, suggesting that the smartphone could combine a compact design with a large battery and an upgraded camera system.
The handset is tipped to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a periscope telephoto lens, and MediaTek's Dimensity 8550 Super chipset.

Oppo Reno 17 Pro Launch Timeline and India Availability
According to recent leaks, the Oppo Reno 17 series could debut in China next month. However, Oppo has not officially announced the launch date or confirmed the existence of the Reno 17 Pro.
The Indian launch timeline remains uncertain. Separate reports suggest that the standard Oppo Reno 17 could arrive in India in early January 2027, potentially without the Pro model. If accurate, this would mean the Reno 17 Pro may initially remain exclusive to the Chinese market, although Oppo has yet to confirm its regional launch plans.
The Reno 17 lineup is also tipped to focus on photography, with new features for Live Photos, live video recording and photo editing. A dedicated AI button could return, while teleconverter support is reportedly being evaluated for the series. These features remain unconfirmed.
Oppo Reno 17 Pro Specifications and Features (Expected)
The Oppo Reno 17 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.32-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This compact screen size could appeal to users who prefer smaller smartphones without compromising on display quality.
Under the hood, the handset is expected to use MediaTek's Dimensity 8550 Super chipset. However, Oppo has not confirmed the processor or its performance capabilities.
Photography could be another major highlight. The leaked camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary camera with a large sensor and gimbal-style stabilisation, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. A 50-megapixel front camera is also tipped for selfies and video calls.
The periscope camera could give the Reno 17 Pro greater zoom versatility in a compact form factor, although the final camera hardware remains unconfirmed.
Another key highlight could be its 7,000mAh battery. If accurate, this would be a substantial capacity for a phone with a 6.32-inch display. Charging speeds and battery endurance figures have not been revealed. The Reno 17 Pro is also expected to run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17.
For now, the specifications, pricing and availability of the Oppo Reno 17 Pro remain unconfirmed. More details are expected to emerge closer to the rumoured November launch in China.
