Oppo Reno 17 Series To Launch This Month: Check Leaked Specs And Features

Oppo has confirmed that its Reno 17 series will launch in China this month. The lineup is expected to include the Reno 17 and Reno 17 Pro, alongside the Oppo Watch 5 and Pad Air 6. The company has also reportedly opened blind pre-orders for the upcoming devices.

Ahead of the launch, a leaked image of the standard Reno 17's “About Phone” section has revealed several details about its hardware. The smartphone is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset, a 200MP camera and a large battery. Here is what we know so far.

Oppo Reno 17 Specifications Leaked Ahead Of Launch

According to the leaked image, the Oppo Reno 17 could feature a 6.59-inch flat display with a centrally placed punch-hole camera. The screen may support a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate, although this has not been confirmed.

The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It could also support an additional 12GB of virtual RAM, while the storage may use UFS 3.1 technology.

On the camera front, the Reno 17 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, it could get a 50MP front camera.

The leaked specifications also point to a 6,700mAh battery, which may use silicon-carbon technology. However, charging speed details remain unknown. The smartphone is reportedly set to run ColorOS 16, with the leaked image showing version 16.0.10.
