Reno 3 Pro Gets Certified Online

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G has cleared its certification from TENNA which is a Chinese mobile regulatory platform. The handset has appeared with PCRM00 and PCRT00 model numbers. The TENNA listing confirms some of the renders tipped by the Weibo post earlier and also reveals the specifications of the Reno 3 Pro 5G.

The listing suggests an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC with a clock speed of 2.4GHz. Notably, the Snapdragon 765G is the latest mid-range chipset by Qualcomm. The device has been listed with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It is currently unknown if the device will come with a dedicated or a hybrid microSD card slot or will skip it altogether.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G TENNA listing also suggests a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. There will be a punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera corroborating with the leaks.

At the rear, the device is likely to house a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor. Aiding the primary chipset could be a 13MP sensor, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor.

The Reno 3 Pro 5G's TENNA listing also reveals Android 10 OS which is expected to be layered with a custom Color OS 6 user interface. The device is also spotted featuring an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

Oppo is yet to announce the launch details of its next-generation Reno 3 lineup. It is worth mentioning that it has been only a few months since the Reno 2 series went official with the shark-fin pop-up selfie camera.

But, the company is now ditching that setup for the punch-hole display design. It would be interesting to see how well the audience responds to the change in the design of the Reno 3.
