Oppo Reno A With Dual-Rear Cameras, IP67 Certification Officially Announced: Price And Specification


Oppo has extended its Reno series with the launch of a new device - the Reno A. The mid-range device has been officially announced in Japan. The Chinese manufacturer had recently launched the second-generation Reno in India. But unlike the quad-camera setup on the Reno 2 series, the latest entrant offers a dual-rear camera module. Oppo Reno A Price And Availability Details

The smartphone is announced at 35,800 Yen (approx Rs. 23,662) and is already up for pre-orders. It will be available for sale starting October 18 at all the major Japanese electronics stores including Amazon and Lotte.

It will also be available at Youdu Baxi, Bic camera, and Nojima. As of now, there is no word on its availability in the Indian as well as other international markets. But, more details are expected in the coming days.

Oppo Reno A Hardware And Software Features

The Oppo Reno A is an IP67 certified device with protection against natural elements like dust and water. The device flaunts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. There is a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Similar to the Oppo Reno 2, the display on the Reno A also incorporates an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The smartphone is equipped with a dual-lens camera setup stacked horizontally on the top-left corner of the rear panel. The sensors include a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

The waterdrop notch accommodates a 25MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 710 SoC. It comes in single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and runs on Android Pie layered with Color OS 6.0 skin.

It is worth noting that the Reno 2 ships with a Color OS 6.1 user interface. The unit gets its fuel from a 3,600 mAh battery unit which is supported by fast charging technology.
