OPPO Reno12 Series With AI Features Launching Soon in India; Flipkart Availability Confirmed

OPPO is all set to unveil the Reno12 series comprising the Reno12 5G and the Reno12 Pro 5G soon in India. A dedicated microsite for the upcoming Reno series phones has gone live on Flipkart, confirming their availability. Here's what to expect from the OPPO Reno12 series.

OPPO Reno12 Series: What to Expect?

Another dedicated page for the upcoming OPPO Reno12 Series has also gone live on the OPPO India website, revealing the smartphones will come with AI features. The Reno12 series will pack cameras backed by artificial intelligence-based features - Perfect Shot, AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio and AI Clear Face.

The upcoming smartphones will be powered by Google's Gemini LLM which includes utilities like AI Writer, AI Summary, and AI Speak. Both phones will come with AI Clear Voice to reduce background noise by up to 40 dB.

The Reno12 series phones are also confirmed to pack 5,000 mAh battery units with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can charge from 0 to 100 in 46 minutes. The BeaconLinktechnology on the Reno12 series will provide a dependable fallback during network outages.

The Reno12 5G will come in Sunset Peach, Astro Silver, and Matte Brown colours and an 8GB/128GB storage option. On the other hand, the Reno12 Pro 5G will be offered in Sunset Gold and Space Brown colour variants and 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage versions.

Moreover, the OPPO Reno12 series is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. They might feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. As of now, the exact launch date is still under wraps.
