OPPO Reno14 5G Diwali Edition Launching Tomorrow With Festive Black-and-Gold Design

The festive season in India often brings limited-edition phones dressed up for the occasion, and this year OPPO is joining the mix. The company has confirmed that the Reno14 5G Diwali Edition will officially launch tomorrow, adding a special design twist to its mid-year flagship.

A Phone Designed for the Festival of Lights

From the teaser shared by OPPO, the Reno14 Diwali Edition takes inspiration straight from the festival itself. The back panel features intricate golden mandala artwork with a peacock motif, set against a black finish. It’s a clear attempt to tie the phone to Diwali’s visual identity—light, color, and traditional patterns.

This isn’t the first time OPPO has experimented with themed editions. Earlier this year, the company launched the Reno14 Sun & Moonlight Edition. But Diwali is a much bigger cultural moment in India, and this special edition looks positioned to resonate with buyers looking for something festive without moving away from the Reno14’s core specs.

What’s Inside Stays the Same

Beyond the new design, the Reno14 Diwali Edition is expected to keep the same hardware as the regular Reno14. That means a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, up to 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. It’s built on aerospace-grade aluminum, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The camera system remains a highlight: a 50MP triple rear setup and a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Battery life is handled by a 6,000mAh pack, paired with 80W wired fast charging. In short, this edition is about aesthetics more than performance shifts.
