Oppo Teases A9 2020 Vanilla Mint Edition: India Launch Likely

Oppo is all set to launch the new A9 2020 Vanilla Mint Edition for the Indian consumers. Back in September, the company launched the smartphone in two color options which include Marine Green and Space Purple. Now. the company is adding one more color variant and has released a teaser video on twitter which reads "Oppo A9 2020 Make way for the Vanilla Mint Edition!" at the end.

The teaser video didn't reveal any physical design or color format of the smartphone, it only shows vanilla ice cream and some graphical representation. Besides, all the specification of the smartphone will remain the same.

Oppo A9 2020 Vanilla Mint Edition Price

Oppo A9 2020 Vanilla Mint Edition is said to come with a price tag of Rs. 19,990 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. So far the smartphone is not listed on Amazon India, but it is expected soon on the e-commerce websites.

The teaser video doesn't showcase how the new variant will look like but the report suggests that it will come with a blue gradient with the combination of white.

Oppo A9 2020 Vanilla Mint Edition Specifications

The smartphone flaunts a 6.5-inch full HD+display with a waterdrop-style notch. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3+. Under the hood, the Oppo A9 2020 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired up to 8GB of RAM.

On the optical front, the smartphone offers a quad-camera setup with the combination of 48MP Primary camera + 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP monochrome shooter+ 2MP depth sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront the smartphone offers a 16MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

Oppo A9 2020 is fuelled by a non-removable 5,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie on top of ColorOS 6.0.1.
