Panasonic Eluga I7 with 18:9 display, 4,000mAh battery launched in India

Panasonic today unveiled a new smartphone for its Indian customers; Panasonic Eluga I7. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,499 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from 24th April 2018. Despite being a budget device, the Eluga I7 has a couple of highlights like 18:9 display, large battery.

The Panasonic Eluga I7 comes with a 5.45-inch Big View HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core MTK6737H processor running at 1.3GHz. The smartphone packs 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage; further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

When it comes to cameras, the Eluga I7 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with Auto Focus and LED flash. The smartphone also features an 8MP front camera with LED flash.

The Panasonic Eluga I7 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. As stated, the handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which sounds pretty good on paper.

This dual-SIM smartphone offers standard connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and a micro-USB port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, an ambient light, a magnetometer, and a fingerprint sensor.

The Eluga I7 will get Panasonic's unique Arbo Hub app via an FOTA update. With this the users can de-clutter their smartphones by replacing multiple apps by just one single app. The app adapts to user specific needs, interests and provides information to them w.r.t services such as cricket, news, payments, cab booking and more on one single platform.
