Panasonic Eluga Prim Launched: Everything You Need To Know
Panasonic Eluga Prim is priced at Rs. 10,290 and supports 4G LTE and VoLTE
Panasonic today has announced a new Android handset in the budget smartphone category. Priced at Rs. 10,290, Panasonic Eluga Prim is a 4G LTE enabled smartphone that will be available via offline retailers across India in Gold and Gun Metal Silver Colour variants.
In addition to 4G LTE, Panasonic Eluga Prim also supports voice over LTE (VoLTE), which will allow users to make voice calls over mobile data on supporting networks like the Reliance Jio. The smartphone offers dual-SIM support and has a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the 16GB on-board storage by up to 32GB.
Panasonic Eluga Prim sports a 5-inch LCD display with 720x1280p resolution and 2.5D Asahi Glass layer. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone features a 13MP autofocus rear camera with triple-LED flash. The front has a 5MP selfie camera. A fingerprint scanner is also provided at the front.
Panasonic Eluga Prim runs Android 6.0 marshmallow and also comes with Android for Work to keep work apps and personal apps separate from one another. The software feature also secures user's data.
The smartphone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery unit and supports 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 and other standard connectivity options.

Looking at the specifications, we can say that Eluga Prim faces a tough competition from Chinese smartphone makers to be considered as the first choice in budget segment. The recently launched Lenovo K6 Power has a full HD display, Dolby Atmos audio and a bigger battery unit than the Eluga Prim. Besides, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is also a better value for money option than the Panasonic Eluga prim.
