Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 Launched In India For Rs. 7,999
Panasonic did not launch any new smartphones for quite some time in the Indian market. Now, after almost six months, the company has taken the wraps off a new smartphone dubbed Eluga Ray 810, which will be the successor to the Eluga Ray 800 launched earlier this year.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is exclusive to the online retailer Flipkart. The smartphone has already gone on sale from 4 PM and users can get it in two color options - Starry Black and Turquoise Blue.
Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 Specifications
The latest Panasonic smartphone is fitted with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a wide notch that we have seen on other smartphones in the past instead of a waterdrop notch. It bestows a resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. There is support for expandable storage space up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 flaunts dual cameras at the rear. This camera comprises a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor along with LED Flash. The other camera features include HDR, Continuous Shooting, auto flash, face detection, digital zoom and touch to focus. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor with an LED flash.
Furthermore, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 comes with standard connectivity features including VoLTE, GPS and other standard aspects. It has an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. The device features ARBO Hub AI support and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a 4000mAh battery and Android 9 OS.
What We Think
Given that there are better-specced smartphones in this price segment in India right now, we can expect the Panasonic Eluga Ray 810 to face a tough challenge from its rivals. Especially, this price point places it against the likes of Redmi and Realme offerings that top the chart in terms of sales.
