Panasonic P9 has been launched in India.

    Panasonic seems to have quietly announced the launch of a new smartphone in the budget market segment. The Panasonic P9 is the latest market entrant priced at Rs. 6,290.

    The Panasonic P9 comes with the support for 4G VoLTE. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. Launched in two color options - Black and Champagne Gold, this smartphone will be available via the Panasonic brand stores and all the other retail outlets all over the country.

    When it comes to the technical specifications, the Panasonic P9 sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection on top. Under its hood, the smartphone from Panasonic is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

    The smartphone running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box features an 8MP main camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie camera on board. The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi. A 2210mAh battery powers the Panasonic P9 can render a decent life to the device.
