Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro price leaks through official promo material ahead of launch

The Google Pixel 8 series is dropping in India and globally next week on October 4. However, ahead of the launch, rumours about the two Pixel 8 devices have been doing the rounds.

Now, a new leak on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted by @Za_Raczke reveal what appears to be official promotional material about the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro Pricing

If the poster is to be believed, the Google Pixel 8 series pricing will remain the same as the previous generation. According to the leaked promotional material, the Google Pixel 8 price in the US will start from $699 (roughly Rs 58,100).

The Google Pixel 8 Pro price is expected to start from $899 (roughly Rs 74,700). The prices are likely for the 8GB/128GB model of the Pixel 8 and the 12GB/128GB variant of the Pixel 8 Pro. Apart from pricing, the leak also reveals key details about the Pixel 8 series.

The Google Pixel 8 series is launching in India and globally on October 4 at 07:30 pm (IST) or 10:00 am in New York. The Google Pixel 8 series will be available for pre-order in India from October 5 via Flipkart.

Google Pixel 8 Series Specifications (Expected)

The listing reveals that the Pixel 8 series will feature a Google Tensor G3 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and on the Pixel 8 and 12GB of RAM on the Pixel 8 Pro. Additionally, the Pixel 8 is also expected to feature a 120Hz OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate between 60Hz to 120Hz.

On the other hand, the poster reveals that the Pixel 8 Pro will sport an LTPO OLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz - 120Hz. Moreover, the Pixel 8 will opt for a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and 12 MP ultrawide shooter with a "Macro Focus" mode.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro will opt for the same 50 MP primary sensor, a new 48 MP ultrawide unit, and 48 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Up front, both Pixel 8 series devices are expected to feature a 10.5 MP selfie camera. The Google Pixel 8 series will also come with VPN by Google One at no extra cost.
