Pixel 9 Could Launch With New “Google AI” Suite: Leaked Features Include Add Me, Studio, and Pixel Screenshots
Google is gearing up to launch its Pixel 9 series smartphones earlier than expected, with the event set for August. Now, a report from Android Authority sheds light on some intriguing AI upgrades coming with these new devices under the banner of "Google AI."
Google AI
The Pixel 9 series will introduce new machine learning features branded as "Google AI," aiming to enhance user experiences across various applications. These enhancements include both brand-new features and improvements to existing tools that Pixel users are already familiar with.

New AI Features
Add Me: Struggling to get everyone in a group shot? The Pixel 9's rumored "Add Me" feature might use AI to cleverly insert you into a photo even if you missed the click. This builds upon the existing "Best Take" feature, which helps you choose the best expressions from a burst of photos.
Studio: The Pixel 9 might boast a built-in AI image generator called "Studio." This feature could allow you to simply describe an image you have in mind, and the AI will do its magic to create it for you. This aligns with Google's development of similar tools like the "Creative Assistant" app for crafting stickers.
Pixel Screenshots: This feature stands out in the upcoming Pixel 9 series because it works like Microsoft's controversial Recall feature, but it's made specifically for screenshots on Pixel phones.
While Recall captures periodic screen snapshots for retrospective PC activity searches, Pixel Screenshots analyzes existing screenshots to create a searchable database. It enhances future screenshots with metadata like web links and app names locally, prioritizing user privacy.
However, AI-driven screenshot searches may pose security risks if sensitive information isn't handled securely.
Launch Details
The official launch event for the Pixel 9 series is scheduled for August 13th, with Google anticipated to unveil multiple variants of the lineup.

There is speculation regarding the exclusivity of the advanced Google AI features, whether they will be limited to flagship models or extended across the entire lineup to democratize access to these cutting-edge capabilities.
