Pixel 9a Flipkart Availability Confirmed; Check Price and Offers
The Pixel 9a was launched yesterday (March 19) in India as the most affordable model in its Pixel 9 lineup. Now, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability. While the exact sale date is yet to be announced, it will be available for purchase in India starting next month.
Moreover, the Pixel 9a will also be available through Google's retail partners starting in April. Even customers can avail of a cashback of INR 3,000 and 24 months of no-cost EMI, with select banking and financing partners, including HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finserv. The same offer is expected to be applicable on Flipkart as well. However, the e-commerce site will soon reveal more details regarding the same.

Pixel 9a: Worth Buying?
For people looking for a high-end Android phone without breaking the bank, the Pixel 9a can be worth buying priced at Rs 49,999 for the 256GB variant. It offers several upgrades over the Pixel 8a including a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and is claimed to be the brightest display ever on an A-series device, delivering 35% more brightness than its predecessor at 2700 nits.
It's powered by the Tensor G4 chip apired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The Pixel 9a brings advanced AI capabilities from the Pixel 9 series, including AI-driven features like Circle to Search, Pixel Studio, and more. The handset packs a 5100mAh battery with support for 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.
For imaging, there is a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Other features include a 13MP selfie camera, 4K video recording, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the Pixel 9a comes with AI-powered computational photography features like Add Me, which debuted with the Pixel 9 series.
The handset is also eligible for seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drops updates. It will be available in India in three colour options namely -- Iris, Obsidian, and Porcelain colour options.
