POCO has announced a new variant of the entry-level POCO C51. The affordable Android smartphone is one of the first to feature 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is quite rare in the segment.

POCO C51 arrived in India a few months back and it featured 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. POCO has now announced a better-equipped version of the same at a very attractive price. Let's look at the specifications, features, price, and availability of the latest budget-friendly Android smartphone from POCO.

POCO C51 With 6GB RAM And 128GB Of Internal Storage On Flipkart

POCO launched the POCO C51 in March 2023. The affordable Android smartphone features decent specifications and features. However, its most attractive aspect was its price.

Retaining the same aggressive pricing, the POCO C51 will soon be available with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Needless to say, such RAM capacity and storage is unheard of in the affordable or entry-level Android smartphone market.

POCO is yet to officially announce the pricing of the POCO C51 with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, Flipkart has already put up an advertising banner for the smartphone on the main landing page.

The POCO C51 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage has been priced at ₹8,999. However, according to the Flipkart banner, buyers can get this variant at just ₹8,099. In partnership with SBI and Flipkart, POCO is offering a flat discount of ₹900 if purchases are made using SBI Credit or Debit cards.

The POCO C51 6GB + 128GB variant will be available during an open sale, which will begin on September 6, 2023, at 12 PM (afternoon). It is not clear how long will Flipkart extend the discounted price offer on the POCO C51 variant.

Incidentally, the 4GB + 64GB variant of the POCO C51 is available on Amazon India. It retails for ₹7,300, which is a very aggressive price as there are no Android smartphones from reputed brands, with such specifications, available at this price.

POCO C51 Specifications, Features

The POCO C51 is an entry-level Android smartphone. Nonetheless, it is a feature-packed affordable mobile phone, which could be very attractive to buyers who are looking to upgrade from a feature phone.

The POCO C51 features a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display, with a 1600 × 720 pixels resolution. The 720p screen has a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

POCO has embedded the octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 SoC inside the C51, which is paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In addition to the 6GB + 128GB variant, there's a 4GB + 64GB model of the POCO C51 available in India.

The POCO C51 features an 8MP + AI lens rear camera setup. There's a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. The POCO smartphone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

POCO has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the C51, which supports just 10W wired charging via the archaic micro-USB port. It runs Android 13 Go Edition. POCO has assured two years of security updates.

Some of the notable connectivity options on the POCO C51 include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou. The POCO C51 is available in Royal Blue and Power Black color options.
