POCO C71 Entry-Level Smartphone Launched in India with 120Hz Display, 32MP Camera, 5200 mAh Battery

POCO has introduced the POCO C71, its newest budget-friendly smartphone in India. The device boasts a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes TÜV low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian certifications. The Wet Touch Display feature ensures accurate touch response even when wet or in light rain.

The POCO C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 Octa-Core processor, offering up to 6GB of RAM and an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. It features a 32MP rear camera paired with a secondary camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone's design is sleek, with a flat frame and stylish camera deco that includes a premium golden ring and distinctive split-grid design.

Specifications and Features

This smartphone operates on Android 15 straight out of the box. POCO assures users of two years of OS updates along with four years of security updates. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.

The POCO C71 comes in three colours: Power Black, Desert Gold, and Cool Blue. It houses a robust 5200mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging. The device's dimensions are 171.9×77.8x8.26mm, weighing in at 193g.

The phone's display is an HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels and offers a peak brightness of 600 nits. It supports a touch sampling rate of 240Hz for smooth interaction. Under the hood, it runs on the UNISOC T7250 processor coupled with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.

Available storage options include either 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with either 64GB or 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, expandable up to an impressive 2TB via microSD card.

The rear camera setup includes a primary lens with f/1.75 aperture accompanied by an LED flash for enhanced photography experiences in various lighting conditions. The front camera features an f/2.0 aperture for clear selfies.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, featuring Dual SIM support (nano + nano + microSD), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac) at both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth version 5.2, GPS systems including GLONASS, Galileo, BDS (only B1C), and USB Type-C port connectivity.

The POCO C71 is priced at Rs. 6,499 for the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs.7,499. Sales commence on Flipkart from April 8th at noon.
