Poco F7 Launched in India with Massive 7,550mAh Battery and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Chip

The Poco F7 has officially launched in India, and as expected, it's a spec-heavy device designed for power users, gamers, and anyone looking for performance without crossing flagship prices.

It arrives with a striking design, the all-new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, and one of the largest batteries ever shipped in a mainstream smartphone.

Display and Design

The Poco F7 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 68 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid support. With a resolution of 1280 x 2772 pixels and a peak brightness of 3200 nits, this panel is tuned for immersive media consumption-even in direct sunlight. The 3840Hz PWM dimming ensures reduced eye strain during low-light usage.

Design-wise, the phone sports a glass back with Gorilla Glass 7i protection on both sides, an aluminum frame, and is available in Black, White, and Cyber Silver. The build is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

Performance

At the core of the Poco F7 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 4nm SoC featuring a Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.21GHz, paired with Adreno 825 GPU. You get up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster app loads and seamless multitasking.
To keep temperatures in check during intense usage, Poco has equipped the F7 with a 6,000mm² 3D IceLoop cooling system, promising consistent performance even under sustained loads.

Camera Setup

The Poco F7 features a dual rear camera setup:

• 50MP main sensor with f/1.5 aperture, OIS, and PDAF
• 8MP ultrawide camera for expanded shots

The rear setup supports 4K video at 60fps, 1080p slow-motion at up to 960fps, and gyro-EIS stabilization. On the front, there's a 20MP selfie shooter, capable of recording 1080p at 60fps-great for vloggers and video calls alike.

Battery and Charging

The Indian model leads the way with a 7,550mAh silicon-carbon battery, positioning it as one of the longest-lasting smartphones in the country at launch.

The global variant comes with a 6,500mAh cell, but both support 90W wired charging via USB Type-C and 22.5W reverse wired charging for juicing up accessories or other phones. Poco claims 80% charge in 30 minutes with the bundled charger.

Audio, Connectivity, and Extras

The F7 doesn't skimp on audio-stereo speakers, 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res Audio, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio ensure an immersive sound experience. The device supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and full satellite positioning coverage including NavIC. There's also NFC and Poco's trademark IR blaster for remote control functionality.

Lastly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio support.

Pricing and Availability

The Poco F7 price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the 12GB/256GB model, while the high-end 12GB/512GB variant will cost you Rs 33,999. As part of the launch offer, buyers can avail of an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000 or an instant Rs 2,000 discount on HDFC, SBI, and ICICI Bank card transactions, effectively bringing the starting price down to Rs 29,999.

Additionally, customers can also benefit no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months. Poco is also offering a 1-year additional warranty and 1-year free screen replacement. The Poco F7 will go on sale in India via Flipkart starting July 1 and will be available in three colour options: Cyber Silver Edition, Frost White, and Phantom Black.
