Poco F7 Price, Design, Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch in India

The Poco F7 is anticipated to debut in India shortly, having been spotted on Flipkart. This upcoming smartphone from Poco's F-series is expected to feature a substantial battery life as one of its main attractions. Although the exact launch date remains undisclosed, the teaser reveals that the Poco F7 will be equipped with a massive 7,550mAh battery, potentially the largest seen in an Indian smartphone to date.

According to Flipkart's listing, the Poco F7 promises a battery life exceeding two days on a single charge with moderate use. Specifically, Poco claims up to 2.18 days of usage from a full charge due to its silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery technology. This feature could appeal significantly to users concerned about battery longevity.

Poco F7: Performance and Features

The device will also support 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to function like a power bank for other devices. The Poco F7's battery surpasses those in the iQOO Z10 and Vivo T4, which currently lead with 7,300mAh units. If launched before competitors release larger batteries, it will hold the title of the biggest battery phone in India.

Performance-wise, the Poco F7 might be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. A Geekbench listing indicates this new chipset alongside 12GB of RAM in at least one variant. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is designed for high performance and may offer capabilities similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Poco F7: Display and Camera Specifications

There are speculations that the Poco F7 could be a rebranded version of China's Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If true, it may feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it might include an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.

On the camera front, expectations are for a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, a likely inclusion is a 20MP front camera.

Poco F7: Pricing Strategy

We expect the Poco F7 price in India to start from under Rs 30,000. To recall, the Poco F6 and F5, were launched at Rs 29,999 each while the F4 started at Rs 27,999.

The iQOO Neo 10, currently the only smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, starts at ₹31,999. This hints that the upcoming Poco F7 could adopt a similar aggressive pricing strategy. However, since Poco has yet to officially confirm these details, it's best to treat the current leaks with caution until an official announcement is made.
