POCO F7 Pro Launch Imminent; Could be the Rebranded Redmi K80

POCO is expected to launch the successor of the F6 Pro dubbed the F7 Pro soon in the global market. The upcoming POCO smartphone is likely to be the rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi K80.

While POCO hasn't confirmed anything regarding the existence of the F7 Pro, the global variant of the F7 Pro has been spotted on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. Here's what to expect from the upcoming POCO F7 Pro.

POCO F7 Pro Launch Likely Soon

The POCO F7 Pro comes with model number 24117RK2CG, where G indicates the Global phenomena variant. The listing also confirms that the upcoming device will come with 5G, NFC, Bluetooth and WiFi support. However, the listing doesn't reveal any specifications of the POCO F7 Pro.

According to an earlier leak, the POCO F7 Proo, with the code name "Zorn," is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone is anticipated to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the software front, the POCO F7 Pro is likely to ship with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. It is also tipped to come with 90W ultra-fast charging support.

In addition to the POCO F7 Pro, the brand is expected to announce the POCO F7 Ultra, which is rumoured to be the rebranded Redmi K80 Pro. The Ultra variant might come with the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Besides, the POCO F7 Ultra will likely feature a TCL panel, a 50MP primary OVX8000 camera, a 50MP S5KJN5 telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom support and a 32MP S5KKD1 ultra-wide sensor
