Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro Global Launch Imminent As Key Specifications Emerge

Xiaomi is gearing up to expand its popular Poco lineup with the launch of the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, expected to arrive globally by late 2025 or early 2026.

Both smartphones are believed to be rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 series, though reports suggest Xiaomi will make a few strategic changes for the international market - including fewer variants and slightly smaller batteries.

Poco F8 Ultra: Premium Hardware with Trimmed Options

According to reliable leaker Paras Guglani, the Poco F8 Ultra will be based on the Redmi K90 Pro Max. However, the global model will reportedly feature a 6,500 mAh battery, smaller than the Chinese version, and will launch in just two configurations, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The 1 TB storage variant offered in China won't be available globally. Xiaomi is also said to limit the color options to Black and Denim Blue, compared to the wider palette available on the Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Poco F8 Pro: Slimmer Design, Flagship Specs

The Poco F8 Pro is expected to mirror the design of the Redmi K90, but with similar global restrictions. It will reportedly come in 12 GB RAM variants with 256 GB or 512 GB storage, dropping the 8 GB base model seen in the Poco F6 series. Reports hint that Xiaomi may replace the 7,100 mAh battery found in the Chinese K90 with a slightly smaller unit to achieve a sleeker design. Expected color options include Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver.

Certification and Launch Details

Certification listings have already confirmed that the Poco F8 Pro is nearing its official debut. The smartphone has appeared in multiple databases, including TDRA (UAE) under model number 2510DPC44G, as well as in Singapore and Thailand. The F8 Pro is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a flagship-grade AMOLED display, and Bose-tuned stereo speakers, making it a strong contender in the upper flagship segment.

With both models expected to launch globally soon, Xiaomi's Poco F8 series looks set to deliver high-end performance and premium design at competitive pricing, a hallmark of the Poco brand.
