POCO M6 Plus 5G Confirmed to Feature Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE; Launching This Week in India

POCO is all set to launch the M6 Plus 5G on August 1 in India. The brand has been gradually revealing its specifications. Now, the processor of the upcoming POCO M6 Plus has been confirmed ahead of the official announcement. Here's everything you should know about the POCO M6 Plus 5G.

POCO M6 Plus 5G Features We Know So Far

The brand took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the POCO M6 Plus will come with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor. Besides, Flipkart's dedicated microsite has already revealed the design and features of the phone.

The POCO M6 Plus 5G is confirmed to feature a 108MP dual rear camera system with support for Auto Night Mode. The phone will be the segment's first 5G phone with dual-sided glass. It will also come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

On the software front, the handset will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS. The Flipkart listing further reveals the POCO M6 Plus 5G will be offered in two colour options namely - Ice Silver and Graphite Black. Moreover, the device will pack 33W fast charging.

On the other side, rumours suggested the POCO M6 Plus 5G will sport a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. Other features will include a 5030 mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 13MP selfie camera sensor.

As far as the price is concerned, the POCO M6 Plus 5G is expected to come with a starting price of Rs 13,000 in India. However, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement.
